Right. Trying to install ubuntu CLI from the alt. install disc.
I got the "starting the partition manager" stage, and it froze at 50%. I tried it with another HDD and it did the same.
Now, having set up partitions using another tool, I now get to a weird menu.
Menu Title: "[!!] Partition disks"
menu text "??? ???"
options: <Go Back> <Continue>
if I hit either of these, it leaves my with the Blue Screen with grey bar at the bottom. No message boxes or anything.
Is there a way of skipping the partitioning section of the install? Because I can easily set the partitions up the way I want, and I believe there used to be.
BTW: ubuntu 8.10 i386 alternate install disc. iso md5 matches, and the disc burned fine.
