Hey everyone,
So my dad convinced me into developing an app for the iPhone and considering all the crazy apps that are already out for the iPhone, I thought I might take a swing at it.
Anyway I'm experienced in Java and C, so I think I'm on the right path to learning Objective-C (which is used by the iPhone). So as I was reading about Objective-C, I learned Linux has Objective-C also (or at least that what I've read). So if this is the case, it would be nice if I could keep my code as portable as possible so I can reuse it as much as possible.
So for those knowledgeable in Objective-C, do you guys have any pointers for me as I'm teaching myself Objective-C. Please let me know what's a mac only thing and what's portable between the two. Also does the Linux version have garbage clean up and if so how does it work.
