Did you notice the wireless (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/WifiDocs/ShareEthernetConnectionThroughWireless) link at the end of Kobalt's link?

The problem with this, and many similar howtos, is that it doesn't mention how to set everything up with a WPA2 wifi network. And noone wants to set up a WEP network in a town (or at least I hope they don't), you have no idea who'll be reading your traffic. Isn't security one of the reasons people move to linux in the first place?
