New kernel problems

When I upgraded to Intrepid it also has installed a new kernel (2.6.27-7), and when I restarted I began to notice problems.

First it was the loading. The ubuntu loading bar took charge as being 4 minutes static shortly after starting to load, then it has loaded normally.

Now, when the window appeared to enter user and pass, I realized that *the keyboard wasn't working, I moved the mouse to restart, and it neither worked.

I reset the computer, started with the previous kernel (2.6.24-21), and it booted normally.

I searched a little about the problem, but nothing appeared. I assumed it was because it was new, and take out someone asking the question, and then I waited, because it doesn't bother me much.

Not long ago came a new kernel (2.6.27-9), and as there was little time between the departure of the former and the previous, I thought they had solved, among others, my problem.

But no, the same thing happens. Takes about 4 minutes to load, then the usbs doesn't work, so I can't enter anything.

The disable of usb is for security? or is that I have a flaw? I find it very strange that so long to load (30-40 seconds is normal).

Nothing?

I have problems with vmware, because it uses another version of gcc, that is in the new kernels, but not this.

I need a solution, or a simple answer that says that the "new" kernels have a few bugs, or something similar.
