I've installed Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid on a test machine. It has kernel version 2.6.27.7.11. How can I upgrade it to 2.6.28? Is there an upcoming release "testing" branch equivalent, as in Debian? I couldn't find it on the website, in the menus or in the downloads section.
Thanks.

Yes, the current testing branch of Ubuntu is called "Jaunty" and does have the 2.6.28 kernel. If you're interested in using it, please see the appropriate section (http://ubuntuforums.org/forumdisplay.php?f=352) of the forums.
