Hello Everyone
I have a strange problem.i have an acer aspire one laptop. This is an ultra portable laptop with no cd or dvd rom.now i have installed ubuntu 8.04 with the help of "unetbootin".This utility allows you to make your pen drive bootable.i have a 4gb pen drive.

now i want to install ubuntu 8.10 (fresh install).now the problem is that i have a dvd of 8.10 that i got free with the digit magazine.its size is aroung 4.28 gb.so i am not able to create a bootable copy of 8.10 on my pen drive as it is only of 4gb.

now i want to know that is there a way to convert ubuntu dvd to cd so that it can fit it in my pen drive.
or is there any way to reduce the size of the installation so that it can fit on 4 gb.

Thanks in advance
