View Full Version : [ubuntu] Modem problems... help the newbie

I have some problems with my modem...
First of all, I can't even boot Ubuntu with it connected because the boot hangs at "Starting Bluetooth"... I have to disconnect it in order to get it right... I read in some forums about disabling bluetooth on the boot process but i just couldn't do it:mad:, so please help with this issue...

The second problem is that I just can't figure out what I have to do in order to connect to the internet... My modem is a speedtouch (silver version)... I created a DSL connection but I just can't find a "CONNECT" buttom... I've found a forum talking about installing the firmware of speedtouch on Ubuntu but I don't know if that's the problem.

I really want to use Ubuntu so... please help me!
