As a few of you may have noticed, the forums are getting very close to reaching 750,000 members, the third milestone in Ubuntu's forum community. Does anyone remember the IRC chat/party going on when we reached 500,000 members?

Reaching 750,000 members will be an impressive feat, meaning Ubuntu forums would be the 159th biggest country in the world by population if it was a country, beating around 40 other countries.

As of this post, we stand at approximately 748,712 members, meaning we have just under 1,300 members to go before hitting the target. :)

750 000 is a lot of members ;) Hope they improve the current forum infrastructure to support more users. Lately there have been so many outages or slow performance.

When you say ice cream cake, do you mean the kind that's largely regular cake, or the kind Dairy Queen makes where there's icing, a layer of ice cream, some crumbly chocolate cookie bits, and then another layer of ice cream or fudge or something, then a crust?
