All web based. I have moved beyond using a dedicated POP or even IMAP client.

I voted evolution because I use it for my gmail account but I also use Thunderbird for my hotmail account.

Web-based for Gmail, but sometimes I use either Sylpheed or KMail.

Thunderbird. I have multiple email accounts, including domains which I own, so I can most easily check them all at once using an email client or my Blackberry. I find webmail apps clunky compared to an email client. I'm sure many will disagree with that statement though.

Evolution. It has many mail functions (signing, encrypting, read request etc.) which I use very often. And Evolution isn't just an e-mail client it is a calendar, task manager. I have all my meetings and what-to-do's there with notifications also.

Web based for both addresses. My University uses Microsoft Outlook online, and my other address is with netscape.

I use web browser for my gmail account, and thunderbird for my work email -> for some reason microsoft exchange server + ubuntu + firefox are a bad mix :D

I use Evolution and GMail.

I don't think this poll is going to be effective because it doesn't allow enough choices!

What about GMail??? Or Opermail?

Just to add to the crowd. I use Gmail.

It is EXCELLENT and could never complain about anything with it. Nothing else comes close.

I use Gmail to aggregate all my various email addresses, though I often connect to that through Thunderbird (which works with the multiple identities).

My phone also pulls in emails from Gmail every 15 minutes.

I have AppleMail & Outlook configured for Gmail too ;) Though they get used a bit less :)

For my school email, I gave up on using any client for it, so I just access it through the browser.

For my gmail, I use Thunderbird.

I use thunderbird to handle my google apps email account, RSS feeds, and I have it sync google calendar and lightning plugin. It's my information station ;p

But I do sometimes use the web-based access to do things like cleaning up my inbox (archiving old emails) or configuring filters and that sort of thing.

I have a few web based accounts for websites that require an email address.
Giving your relatives your email address is the #1 cause of spam.

I have used web base Yahoo email since 1998. Works fine.
I started using web base Gmail a few months ago. Works just fine.
Have not used a email application for eight years.
Any computer I go to, I can get my email just fine.
