Bumping this.
Classes have started for CVTC. There are more than a few of us using OSS.
Bill, or anyone else in Rome. If you want to stop by. Class ends around 2:30 in room 107 in the J building.
Though I'm not currently using Ubuntu--I will be installing PC-BSD on my machine at the college to have for when we start setting up networks.
Heck, we're just now getting books a week and a half into the quarter. So I'll be around for a bit myself anyway doing coursework.
Still, I'd like to meet some of the Rome people. If enough people show up, maybe we can make plans to start LoCo meetings.
I know it's short notice. But let me know back. I don't think our teacher would mind a visitor coming in at the end of class. There's no classes meeting in that room afterward. But you may have to park in the lot of the D building across the street from the J building and walk over.
You guys know how to get to Coosa Tech in Rome, right? After you take the exit, you take a right. You'll turn on to Hemlock Street, and the J building is on the right past the Carpet plant.
Looking forward to meeting you guys.
