The stats so far aren't really surprising, though I was surprised Banshee had less users than it did.

Yeah, pretty unsurprising.

If you're into surveys, take a look at the popularity-contest package in the repos (main component).

Voted, though I don't really like statistics much. Never a correct number because they're never based on everyone. Only a few thousand people at most

I'm slightly surprised at how many people are still using Tex/Latex :)

Also, they forgot the most important; which text editor do you use? :twisted:

I'm -really- surprised that Arch and Sidux are ahead of Gentoo/Mint/Mandriva/Mepis.

I found it strange that amarok wasnt on the list.

Amarok not being on the list must be an error. I would not draw any conclusions yet as there were only 84 participants so far.
