I probably have not searched far and wide enough before asking this question, but...

When my Gazelle Ultra arrived --very pleasant purchasing and getting started experience BTW -- one of the things packed with it was a telephone cable and something that appears to be a tiny syringe with an orange cap.

For what purpose is the syringe or whatever this device is?

Many thanks.

To me it sounds like CPU coolant, but by your post count I'm sure you know what that looks like.

Is there a name on the syringe?

The telephone cable or RJ11 cable is just used to connect to a modem or fax machine....yeah you can just put it in the recycling bin.

There are a bunch of numbers and Chinese characters on the label.

The susbstance appears to be gray; the cap at the end is orange.

The numbers are 6- 47-D90T8-010 GFC-M1

Yes, that's CPU thermal compound. At the manufacturing facility they use their own, but they should've taken that out. If you ever do a CPU upgrade, it'll come in handy.

The phone cord would only really be useful if you wanted to dual boot windows and use a dial-up modem.
