Hi There
I finally took the plunge and installed the easy peasey version of ubuntu on my asus eeepc 701.
I installed it via usb stick and it works like a charm, I have but one problem :(
When I close down ubuntu, power off or reboot, when the os boots again it asks for my password, I input this the os loads up but after about 30 seconds it tries to take me through the reinstall again. I have no idea what to do, I have took out the usb stick, but it seems to happen everytime.
Pls note i original had xp on this system but overwrote that (well at least I hope it did!!!) with ubuntu
