Hello,
I just installed Kubuntu 8.10 and configured my proxy settings to be able to connect to the internet.
I can browse the internet using Konqueror but I cannot update/install any packages using Adept or Synaptic.
Another problem I am having is that I cannot change my timezone. Its set to London and I am in Melbourne, Australia. I changed it a couple of times already and it always resets!
Your help is much appreciated.
