Hey there,
I've been registered for awhile now but I've only posted for problems I couldn't find previous posts for.
Anyway, almost totally unrelated to Ubuntu...
If you care to, check out this post (http://nithska.blogspot.com/2009/01/last-bit-of-shameless-self-promotion.html) on my blog for simple instructions to vote for one of my stories in the critter's/ predators & editors readers opinion poll.
I have been using Linux exclusively since 1999 and a Ubuntu user since the version just before the first LTS version (memory fails me). Anyway, so while not fanatical, I am an avid supporter of open source and free software, which is mentioned from time to time on my blog and in my fiction. Included in the post are links to where the stories are published. One is online, so there is easy access to that one at least.
Please consider voting for one of the stories today: this is the deadline for the contest.
