View Full Version : [ubuntu] How to install GYachi in ubuntu 8.1 64bit version

Dear buddies,

I recently installed Ubuntu 8.1 64 bit version .Could anyone tell how to install GYache for 64 bit debian version or tar file version step by step.Is it possible to convert 32 bit version in to 64 bit version? if so please tell me,how? in explict manner.

You could download the gusty deb package from here (http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=158490&package_id=177556&release_id=551575) and double click on it to install, if you have a problem with the architecture you could force the architecture.

Thank you so much Mr. Partyboi2.I have solved my problem with the link you provided to me. But I could not start voice chat and windows shows message as
Can not start voice chat due to the following missing files

tsd32.dll
tssoft.acm

Not in the following directories

/
/user/lib/win32
/user/lib/win32
/user/local/lib/win32
/user/lib/codeces

please help me to resolve this problem.

I did some more searching and came across this (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=773802) thread. I see that they have intrepid 64bit version debs for GYachi. So you might want to uninstall the gysty one and reinstall using the intrepid 64bit. Also check out Post #9 of the above link about the
