So, at present i am Defragging my Vista HDD, so that i can shrink the volume safley, apparently changing the partitions Via live CD breaks windows vista? Something to do with the fact vista randomly scatters files all over the place? lol

So after i wait hourrs for this defrag, what bootloader is better / faster?
grub or the vista bootmanager ?

for me this question is easy to answer: grub, ofcourse. due it is open source and therefore u will get more help and ubuntu realizes vista and will put it with in grub with the vista bootloadeer u might run into trouble whith the next kernel released and updated, cause u will have to edit it manually.
though grub might look a bit antique in the first with only black and white, there are possibilities to let it lokk more fancy:

hope it is an answer
