Hi,
I have been using Ubuntu 8.10 Desktop Linux for some time now and I am looking to upgrade to a Laptop with an SSD harddrive. So my question is: Is Linux OS compatible with SSD regarding the file system compatibility and the read write cycles etc.
I have seen in several forums that people had problems installing Ubuntu on an SSD drive. . .Windows XP has problems as well.
So can anyone suggest me a best software OS for SSD if i cannot install on a Linux machine, then please give the reasons why?
