for what i've been reading (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1000942), apparently one needs to be connected to the internet with one network card, to be able to share it via wireless (for example) to smaller devices/friends/etc with ANOTHER card.
This sounds reasonable in theory, you can share your 3g internet access through your laptop's wireless card, via network manager/etc.
My question is: isn't it possible to be connected to a wireless network via laptop's only wireless card and share that connection as a new one with that same wireless card?
It doesn't seem impossible..and it's useful under certain circumstances, sharing hidden/protected networks with devices that can't access them.
