I hooked up my HP F2100 printer to my NAS disk the other day, and have after some fiddeling managed to install CUPS-Deamon.

To install the driver in CUPS i used a PPD driver called
HP-DeskJet_F2100-hpijs.ppd. The printer then showed up as installed. And i were able to connect to it with both my PC's(Laptop running Ubuntu 8.10 & Desktop running Win XP).

Problem is:
When i try to print something, the print-job appears in the CUPS web interface, but nothing happens physically. I can't print a test page either.

In the web interface i get a message " HP_Deskjet_F2100 "Unable to start filter "foomatic-rip" - No such file or directory." "

Thanks in advance!
