Hi,

I am a complete beginer in Ubuntu. I am using 8.10 32bit. I cannot get flash videos in you tube to play with sound. I have seen loads of forums on trying to get this to work but none of the methods work.

I have a Creative Audigy 2 ZS and have sound working using ALSA. I have installed flashplugin-nonfree and extrasound in Synaptic Packagae Manager but no luck yet.

Thanks for any help.

Run this command:

sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras

Installs flash and all that fun stuff.

I have tried that and restarted but the audio does still not work.
