People say Das Keyboard is a very great keyboard. You might have two problems with it though: it's not like a laptop keyboard, and the keys have no faces. Oh, and I don't know how much it costs, either.

Rosewill makes a decent corded slim keyboard. You can get one for less than $20USD shipped.

Love the Das Keyboard II. The thing has a heaft to it and the keys feel great. Kinda pricey but my favorite keyboard.

I got one of the Apple wired keyboards, it's pretty much exactly what you're asking for. You could of course get a wireless one if you wanted (they use bluetooth).

IIRC, they cost about $120 US. You can get them with labels printed on the keys, however, that kind of goes against the ideology of the Das Keyboard. (They are designed with touch-typists in mind, whom don't rely on the labels on the keys to type effectively.)

+1

I've had my UltraX for about 7 years now so it's pretty reliable and I love it.

Edit: I see they have changed the looks slightly from the original one.

Always liked a slim aluminium keyboard, that range in price, but you get what you pay for...
