View Full Version : [ubuntu] Can't install on HP D220 MT

I have a cd/dvd burner and a cd rom. I have tried the a live cd, and 6.1 and 6.60.1 (live cd is from the same time period). I get an I/O error and a reboot window no matter what version I use no matter what drive I use. Please help.

PS I have used these disks before with no problem. The live cd I used last weekend to fix my other computer.

Graphics? Memory?
If 256 of RAM or less; try Xubuntu Alternate CD; or Puppy or DSL

Ok here is what I know:

On board video don't know what it is.

intel celeron 2.4G
760MB ram


looking for specs online it looks like video is: Intel Extreme Graphics (integrated with chipset) Integrated 4x AGP
