View Full Version : [kubuntu] Kubuntu 8.10 does not unlock after "Lock"

After I "lock" the screen on my desktop (Dell Dimension, running Kubuntu 8.10) it does not unlock - it only shows me a blank screen and there's no way I can type in a password to unlock it. I am always forced to restart my computer because of this (by pressing the button on the cabinet). Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

Are you able to get to a console using ctrl+alt+f1 or is the computer locked hard ?

You are right. The keyboard is locked too. Can't input anything.
