Hi all,
I have installed Ubuntu 8.04 in my 40GB hard disk as a single partition. Now i need to split that into 2 to make room for my OpenSolaris. I put my Ubuntu live cd and went to the partition editor. Now what i am trying to do is making 20 GB room for existing Ubuntu and creating a new partition for remaining space. Now the structure looks like [Ubuntu 8.04 -- 20 GB-- || New Partition -- ~19 GB-- || Extended Partition || Linux Swap ]
Now i am afraid that this new partition is going in btw Ubuntu and its extended and Linux swap.
Will this cause a problem? Please help me.
