Hi everybody,
I have a Acer TravelMate C100 Tablet pc and I just completed the installation of ubuntu 8.10 using alternate CD.
However when I am trying to startup ubuntu, both normal mode and safe mode cause black screen. And the laptop seems to freezed, which makes me nothing left but to restart it.
One guy in the forum described and solved almost the same problem as I have. Here is the link:

Unfortunately, I am newbie to linux and I don't understand those professional words.
Could someone just tell me what I should do. I apreciate if you could offer me a step by step guide.
