It's nice to see that Linux at least around twice as reliable as Windows 2000. :)

Even Ubuntu is doing really well, despite claims by some that it is too unstable.

There are some anomalies with minor distributions like TurboLinux and Mandriva, which I guess is due to small sample size for those distributions.

Ubuntu is unstable. It crashed at least once a month on my last year. (Ok, ok. So it was harware problems). But I am moving to Debian soon :D

Looks weird, I always heard Debian is more stable than Ubuntu yet Debian is over 5 and Ubuntu is just over 1.... looks a bit dodgy.

As a long time Windows sysadmin one of the reasons Windows does so poorly is each month when the updates come out they always require a reboot. When your boss wants you to have 99.9% uptime those monthly reboots count against you and makes it impossible to meet that goal. I got much closer when I ran the old Novell Netware stuff.
