When I try to change my audio device, I get:

audiotestsrc wave=sine freq=512 ! audioconvert ! audioresample ! gconfaudiosink: Could not open audio device for playback.

Any advice?:(

Do you have a program called audioconvert installed?

I don't really know but I had something like that installed in Fedora 9 and it screwed it up. Just wandering.

Actually I think I do. I'm not sure if this will work but try to download this:http://kcheck.sourceforge.net/download.html. It may take a while though so be patient. Hope this works!
