Sound Board

I have a buddy that wants to put on a play and is on a budget. We can get some PC hardware. What we're wondering is if there are any apps out there that can simulate a sound and/or a light board. This is pretty low level stuff, for an elementary school play. Thanks in advance!!

Yes there is. It is for exactly your situation, a free sound and light controller for stage productions that runs on linux. I just wish I could remember what its called.
