Hi all

Given the recent proliferation of *ubuntu distributions I was wondering if there's any interest in a "mini distribution" of console apps? One could create a default "desktop" with a screen session and a bunch of console apps (mp3blaster, centericq, elinks).

Is there any interest in such a thing? If so, let me know at drnobes@gmail.com, or here in this thread.

What would the focus of it be? Why would someone use it instead of running a WM in X11? I may be interested in this, but only for a live CD, or to be run inside Qemu on Windows -- it'd be even faster than DamnSmallLinux.

Maybe for machines that are too slow for X too...
