I have a hp Tv with a built in media player
Can this be used with mythTv?

, works with windows Vista and XP.
With xp you can stream content to the Tv using the Tv remote
The Tv is a UPnP networked to the computer
Looks like the Pc is running a mediaserver ?
(Version Information: Cassini Web Server 1.0.40305.0)

Mythtv has a UPnP server. Your TV may or may not find it. If not you could try running a couple of other UPnP servers like fuppes or ushare or twonky (twonky isn't free).

I have tried mythtv's UPnP server with a couple of different UPnP networked device clients, and some work, some don't. Of course, I have found this to be true with most UPnP server/client combos, unless a client specifically says it supports a certain UPnP backend.
