Hello,
I would like to install multiple versions of Open office in English, Spanish, and Swedish
I speak English, and some Swedish and am currently learning Spanish.

I have used the Spanish version on a PC but OOO only seems to put one version on at a time. I can't seem to switch between them.
Is there any way I can set up three seperate installs on this hardy machine?

Thanks,
Gene

When you start up Ubuntu v8.10, it prompts you to select a language interface. Once you select a language, the OpenOffice interface will also follow. In my case, when I select Traditional Chinese, OpenOffice's interface will also switch to T Chinese automactically.

Thank you,
I went to system administration language preferences, and checked Spanish,Swedish, and French as well as English and it downloaded 52 files. I can now choose to be in any one of the languages in OOO but not two different ones at once, not quite what I wanted:???: but it will work.:D

Language preference in OOO is under tools>options or Herramientas>Opciones in Spanish.
It changes after one closes all instances of OOO and then starts a new session. It is not nec. to reboot the machine.

Gracias de nuevo.
