include bt3 (airodump-ng) in my ubuntu 8.10

hello. i am zeljko. i im using ubuntu 8.10 and i hope to include
back track 3 (airmond-ng) in my ubuntu 8.10, i have a shot at.. , but no work :-(

i have wireless card broadcom 802b/g, in back track3 and vmware
no work this wifi card :-( but in my ubuntu is okay, work very good.
and i afforce in include airmond-ng in my ubuntu, but no work :-(

please help me.
