Dear Ubuntu users,
I have a Fedora 10 - Kubuntu 8.4 dual boot system. When I reboot from
Fedora partition my laptop restarts normally and brings me to grub menu
to select either Fedora or Kubuntu. The Kubuntu file system is also
visible from Fedora whereas the opposite is not true.
My problem occurs when rebooting from Kubuntu, where the screen becomes black and the laptop idle. However this doesn't happen when I try to restart without logging in. In that case it reboots normally.
I have attached my /boot/grub/menu.lst file which is the same in both Fedora and Kubuntu partitions, hoping that is relevant to my problem.
I would deeply appreciate any advice!
