Before, I formatted my entire drive and installed Xubuntu 6.10 (I think). After using the Package Manager to install NDISWRAPPER, and then installing my Linksys WUSB11v4, I obtained wireless internet through my home router.

Then, a couple days later, I burned and installed Xubuntu 8.10, and installed NDISWRAPPER. Now I cannot connect to a wireless network. It scans for the wireless networks, then when I try to connect to my router and type in my WEP Key, it says, "Trying to connect to Derek Maciel." Right after that it says, "Trying to obtain a network address." After staying on that message for a minute or two, it says that it failed.

I have tried changing my WEP Key and restarting my system / Reconnecting the actual Wireless Adapter.

Any suggestions?
