Hi I am in the process of purchasing Asus Nova P20 with the tv tuner docking station.

My man concern is their is not much talk about the tuner card in the dock.

I found a post from a guy who mentioned it was Avermedia A316 Hybrid Analog/DVBT card but i cant find such a device at avermedia's website.

I would like touch base with anyone that has info on drivers (where to obtain etc), installation process and if they had any trouble in any areas.

If all goes well it would be very nice media center.

Hey mate,

I have not tried the docking station under mythbuntu or used any of the AV features of it, however I can say that the Gigabit LAN is detected fine along with the USB ports and card reader.

Here are some internal shots of the unit (attached as .zip to this post). The TV Tuner appears to be an Avermedia A316AE or A316 or 316... The chip on it is an NXP SAA7136E [ http://www.nxp.com/acrobat_download/literature/9397/75015903.pdf ]. Hope this helps and sorry it's 4 months too late :D
