I am using Ubuntu 7.04 and I do not know where to find a planner or a calender which I can add things that I need to. Where would I find such a program?

Thank you

Evolution, which comes with the standard Ubuntu install. Or you could use Google, Yahoo, or one of a hundred other web based calendaring systems.

Have you tried Mozilla Sunbird
Look in you Synaptic Package Manager and type Sunbird in search if it is there you can install it from there. If not you will need to go to Sunbird site to download.
http://www.mozilla.org/projects/calendar/sunbird/download.html
You may also want to look at Lightning

I am also looking for a calendar application. I need to have the calender setup for 2 computers, the first being XP and the second Ubuntu. Looks like i may try and setup the webDav server and see if it satisfies my needs.

I just click on my clock, which opens up the calendar. Then double-click a specific date and Evolution pops up.

If I wanted to use the same calendar on Linux and Windows, I would go with Sunbird.
