I have a 200 gig Windows partition for backup while learning Ubuntu's ways. Unfortunately, I still need the space strictly for my Zune. What is the best way to go about resizing this partition?

Gparted LiveCD : look here (http://gparted.sourceforge.net/livecd.php)

Thanks for the quick reply. That site says it's only for x86 systems while mine is 64. Any suggestions?

Gparted is actually on your Ubuntu LiveCD, so you can just use that. Boot into it and go to System > Admin > Partition Editor.

You should go into windows and separate off some of your hard drive from there.
Gparted is great, but if you don't tell windows to expect less space, it's not going to know what to do with itself when you try to boot back into it...

It's in disk management.

The liveCd runs on 64 bit also. I always use the Gparted liveCD. Some versions ago gparted from ubuntu liveCD gave errors or was not yet on the CD. I have not checked the latest versions on that.
