Hi, everyone..

I just started using ubuntu 8.10 today..

I have been looking over the Internet on installing flash player for my ubuntu, and came across on people saying do not install flashpluggin-nonfree and instead go to adobe site and download the package from there.

What is the reason? can someone tell me which is the best option to install the flash player? By synaptic packet manager or download from adobe site and install their package?

please guide me, cuz i am still noobie in this OS
