I've installed Ubuntu 8.10 from live CD and then installed KDE4 from the following repo:
http://ppa.launchpad.net/kubuntu-experimental/ubuntu intrepid main
Now I wanted to install Digikam, but the only version that shows up in Synaptic tries to uninstall Gwenview. Is there a way to install Digikam (KDE3 version) and keep Gwenview (KDE4 version)? I remember that with OpenSUSE 11.1 I got both versions of digikam (KDE3 and KDE4) running in the same system without any trouble and also Gwenview (KDE4).
How can I have this in Ubuntu? Should I use other repos? Which ones?
