So I have some install CDs that are getting kinda scratched,
is there any software for Ubuntu I can use to create a disk image of them that I can later write to CDs if needed?

(I also have OSX 10.5 and Windows XP if you know any programs on those...)

Thanks guys!

k3b, nerolinux etc but you can also use this command to make an iso :

dd if=/dev/cdrom of=/tmp/cdimg1.iso

If I were you I'd use Brasero. It's installed by default on Intrepid.

There is an app for working with disks that may be slightly damaged. I don't remember the name. I have searched add/ remove and not found it. I will search Synaptic when I have time and edit this post.

No wonder I could not remember. The name is DVDDiaster. Really hard to remember if your not paying attention.
