I have an Intellimouse explorer (Shouldn't really matter but whatever)
It has 2 buttons on the side, buttons 8 and 9. They are normally used for browser back and forward, but i'd like to change them to control the volume. I've found a guide on modifying imwheelrc, but it doesn't really explain the syntax.
Thanks in advance

As IMPORTANT as the human interface with a computer IS, Ubuntu don't think so!
There is little to no Meeces support in Ubuntu!
I dumbed down from a 7 button mouse to a 3 button mouse, figuring since it was the most COMMON meece configuration these days, that it would be support.
What I found was NO SUPPORT for the center button of any kind. It's set to a default condition used by less than 1/2 of 1% of the population of computer users!
I also found NO SUPPORT for another primary user interface, the keyboard!
No business class keyboards are supported in Ubuntu.......
I don't know why the TWO PRIMARY user interfaces with a computer are NOT supported, other than to just make them work at bare minimum levels.
Makes no sense to me!
