Ive been tryin for a week now to install Ubuntu on my Toshiba

This is the laptop i have

Toshiba Satellite A205-S5825 or click here (http://reviews.cnet.com/laptops/toshiba-satellite-a205-s5825/4507-3121_7-32976276.html?tag=mncol;psum)

I was able to install Ubuntu on my junker PC to test it out..now that i like it i wanted to install it on my main PC...

When ever i try and run the live cd...it never boots up...it jumps directly to the XP OS like the CD isnt in the drive.

enter the bios, and make sure it's set to boot from the cd drive first.
