WINE on Ubuntu

Is there a version of WINE out there that can be used with Ubuntu? The boot sector of my Windows drive decided to quit on me, but the drive is still accessible from Ubuntu.

Looking for a version of WINE that will work.

The best version at the moment (IMO) is the ubuntu packages available at http://winehq.org.

They are the most up-to-date anyway, but don't excpect miracles -- wine can do alot, but is nowhere near perfect.

there's one in the repos that works for me (most of the time)


strange thing... my windows no longer boots anymore either... still don;t know what caused it :confused:
