Hey Folks...

I know that MySQL and other database technologies and such are fairly ubiquitous throughout Linux. Thing is, I'm not into coding and have no desire to sit there and try to deal directly with SQL-type coding, etc. What I'm looking for would be something more along the lines of FileMaker or Panorama, with a nice GUI front end.

Any suggestions?

I'm not that familiar with FileMaker or Panorama (and I am not very good at databases in general), but you might give OpenOffice.org Base a try. It tries to be like MS Access, but it falls a bit short. Still, it might do what you want it to do.

If you don't mind running some KDE apps. you could also try Kexi. I have heard some good things about that, but I can't speak from personal experience.

I'm sure there are probably others, but I'm not a database expert.

You can get raw with MySQL Administrator :). It really depends on what do you want to do.
