having problems installing intrepid

Hello. I download the image and burn it into a disc, but when I tray to install it, the instalation dons't pass from the loading bar and my monitor stay in black, I run the memory test, what it pass, check for errors in the disc, it pass, I try donwloading the image from diferent source and still the same and I know the firts disc works, because I installed in other pc, but in this one dons't wanna work, I change the dvd-rom from this pc and I use the cd-rom from the other pc and it's still the same, the info for my pc is:

AMD Athlon XP 3000+
2.17 GHz, 1.50 GB Ram
ATI Radeon 9550

It's probably having difficulty with your video chip. Try passing a boot option like vga=771 and see if it does any better. Or use the alternate CD, which has a text-based installer.
