I have installed Xubuntu 8.10 on a friend's laptop.
Specs:
Toshiba Satellite A45-S120 Laptop
Intel Celeron 2.6GHz
256 MB (trying to upgrade to 1GB) of DDR RAM
160GB HD, 1GB SWAP, 159 xfs
Everything works fine except for Thunar. I cannot select a file, use the menu (File, edit, etc...), or even exit the window. Using the close X on the right of the window does not work.

Nevermind, a few restarts (somehow) fixed this. Mods, delete/close the thread if you wish
