I want to install an old kernel, that I haven't had installed before. Is there a way to do this (do I have to compile, or is there a command)?

I have Kubuntu 8.10, kernel 2.6.27-9. I want kernel 22.6.22, or something old to try to get my nvidia card working.

Look in Synaptic. Maybe it's there.

Have a look here (http://packages.ubuntu.com/search?keywords=kernel&searchon=names&suite=all&section=all), you may find what you need.

Thanks, I think that will work.
