Can't install 8.10 on existing LVM

Hi Ubuntu community,

I am a it disappointed because I couldn't install a Ubuntu (8.10 dvd that came with Linux Magazine) using existing logical volumes.

Neither gui or text installer offer such a capability.

Is there a way to make a work around for use my existing schema LVM?

But finally I've found it on LM DVD, in text mode installation, if someone need help about that ask me...
