Hi i have this pc:

Intel core 2 Duo E 6750
ASUS P5KC
Sapphire ATI HD 3870
2 Gb Ram corsair

Here the problem: when i try to install ubuntu 32 bit after choosing "install ubuntu" the scren became black.

But if i try to install Ubuntu 64 bit no problem during installation. This i s a problem only on installation of 32 bit version.
What can it be?
Thanks

Ur hardware specs seems ok. First try using LiveCD without installing. If everything goes well then go ahead and install.

Check CD for defects and ensure that the CD is burned at a lower speed.

Also try to install with Alternate CD if issue persists.

Do keep posted.

The cd was burned with the lowest speed and on chech no errors where founds.
The cd is ok, i am using a rewritable, the same cd works on a different and old machine.

Live doesn't run because here too the screen turns black.
I tried again with 64 bit and with this all goes whitout errors, but i need 32 bit because i have software problems on 64 bit.
